Ask a question or send a correction
One address, no form, no ticket number. What to include so a question can actually be answered, what this desk can help with, and the four things nobody here can do for you regardless of how the request is worded.
The address
Write to [email protected]. That is the only channel. There is no live chat, no direct message account and no support agent who will contact you first, which also means that anybody appearing in your messages claiming to be from this site is not.
The desk is small, so replies are not instant and simple questions sometimes get answered by a page being improved rather than by an email. If your question turns out to be one many people have, it will most likely appear on the questions page, which is the fastest way for one answer to reach everybody.
What makes a question easy to answer
- The page and the sentence. If something here is unclear or wrong, name the page and quote the sentence. That single habit turns a vague report into a fix that takes two minutes.
- What you expected instead. For a definition that did not land, saying what you thought the word meant is more useful than saying the entry was confusing, because it shows where the explanation forked.
- The public detail, and only the public detail. A token address, a transaction signature or a wallet address is enough for almost any technical question, and all three are public already.
- A plain question rather than a screenshot. Screenshots of a chart rarely contain the thing that would answer the question, and a signature usually does.
What this desk can help with
Explaining a term you met somewhere else and could not look up. Clarifying a page here that did not make sense. Correcting something that is factually wrong or has gone stale. Pointing you at the public documentation or the explorer view that answers a mechanical question about how something works.
Suggestions for the word list are particularly welcome. If you met a term in the wild and could not find a plain definition anywhere, that is exactly the gap this site is meant to close, and the fastest way to close it is for somebody to say the word out loud.
What nobody here can do
- Recover anything. No transaction on Solana can be reversed and no key can be regenerated. Anyone offering recovery is running the second theft, aimed at people who have already had one.
- Advise on your situation. Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice, and questions about whether something is lawful where you live belong to a qualified lawyer with the facts in front of them.
- Provide support for third-party software. This desk did not build the tools it describes and has no visibility into anybody's account, run or balance.
- Handle key material. Never send a seed phrase, a private key or a wallet export to this address or to any other. There is no question whose answer requires one, and any message containing one is deleted rather than read.
A note on impersonation
This desk does not initiate contact. It does not send direct messages, it does not run a giveaway, it does not ask anyone to verify a wallet, and it will never ask you to connect one. If something claiming to be Plain Solana does any of those things, it is not us, and the correct response is to ignore it rather than to engage with it.
Corrections and how they are handled
A correction that identifies a specific claim gets checked against public documentation or against the chain, and if it holds up, the page is edited. Substantive changes are made in the text itself rather than added as a footnote, because someone arriving next month should read the accurate version rather than a history of the inaccurate one.
If a report turns out to be a disagreement about interpretation rather than a factual error, the usual outcome is that the page gets clearer about which interpretation it is using and that the other one exists. That is generally a better page than one which simply picks a side quietly, and it is a large share of what this address is useful for.
